wanted to start this page to share some of the situations I've
encountered as a writer, and also to share great links I've found
over the years. I work with an independent Editor in New York
who has provided a wealth of information to me. I'd like to
share it here. Check back often.

So You Want to Write a Book
What I've found is that many people want to write, they don't know
where to begin. I was there at one time. If you want to
write a great novel the first place you have to start is with your
characters. My editor, Eric Rhames, provided a
characterization sheet to me. When I first received it I
thought "Oh my goodness! This is a lot." Over time I
realized how much of a life saver it was to me. I am attaching
a copy for you
here. Please feel free to print it out and start
working on your characters.
Writing Software
 I strongly recommend and use the software NEW NOVELIST. I
found it several years ago and it has helped me tremendously.
Organization is an important key to writing, whether its a novel or
a great article. You will find New Novelist very user
friendly. In my opinion, it's the best on the planet.
